On the East Side of Indianapolis, we appreciate history. We love the classic charm of the homes near Warren Park and the winding, spooky-cool streets of nearby Irvington. However, there is a fine line between “historic charm” and “I’m bathing in a giant piece of Trident chewing gum.”
As the “Before” photo clearly demonstrates, Sarah was living on the wrong side of that line. Her bathroom featured a tub in a shade we like to call “Desperate Salmon.” It was paired with a white plastic surround that had built-in shelves so shallow they couldn’t hold a bar of soap through a heavy Indiana thunderstorm. To compensate, Sarah had deployed a hanging metal caddy that was essentially a vertical junkyard for loofahs and bottles.
